The primary goal of MANA’s HERMANITAS® program is to encourage Hispanic adolescent girls to live healthy lives, have good character and pursue high academic goals. The process involves partnering with their families, schools, community and other organizations. MANA De NCSD Committee seeks your financial support with our mentoring program-related expenditures such as field trips, books and refreshments for the girls. Since we have seen measurable success, the school districts are requesting that we expand our HERMANITAS® Program to serve more girls. Thus, we need your help now more than ever to not only continue providing this vital service, but also expand it. The girls in our program are not served by other programs, nor are there any similar programs in North County. Ours is unique. Please consider investing in the lives of these girls–investing in the future of our community.
We are currently serving one cohort of girls each at Valley M.S., Calavera M.S. in Carlsbad and three cohorts of girls at Rancho Minerva M.S. one cohort at Madison M.S. and one at Roosevelt M.S. in Vista Unified.
